How can I enter a float? 

 

Tickets can be purchased using our website beforehand, each individual person will be required to purchase a ticket if they want to take part in the float. 

 

Do you provide crafts?

 

We don’t provide floats, see the post below for more information on the type of craft recommended.

 

What type of craft can I bring? 

 

If it is safe and suitable, we don’t mind what you bring. However, we have seen people turn up to our past event in swimming pools, kayaks and canoes, flamingos, giant inflatable ducks and pizza slices. 

 

What are the age restrictions? 


Our current age restriction for the float is 12 years old. There is no age restriction for our entertainment or to spectate. 

 

What additional equipment do you recommend bringing? 

  • Buoyancy Aids 
  • Wet and Warm Kit

  • Paddles 
  • Dry Bags 
  • Food & Drink (No Alcohol)
  • Waterproof Camera or Waterproof Phone Case

  • What do I wear on the water? 

 

Are toilets provided?

 

Yes, they are provided including disabled toilets.



Are there camping facilities nearby? 

 

Camping is available at Hereford Rowing Club, please book in advance to avoid disappointment. 



Can you buy tickets on the gate? 

 

Yes, A small amount of tickets will be provided on the gate (Cash Only).

 

Are spectators allowed? 

 

Spectators are allowed within the events area for a small donation. 



What time do I need to be there? 

 

A time table will appear on the front page closer to the event. 

 

How long does the float take?

 

Approximately 1.5 hours

 

Do I need to walk back from the finish point?

 

Yes, via the route found within the event program, however it will be clearly sign posted back. 

 

Can I bring Alcohol?

 

Strictly no alcohol is to be consumed before or during the float. A bar will be opened after the last float ready for the after party to begin.
